The solutions for urban rail power supply system involve auxiliary converter (inverter+ battery charger), dedicated frequency converter for air conditioner, emergency ventilation inverter, air-conditioning inverter, battery charger and other products.
The auxiliary converter converts 1500VDC high-voltage direct current supplied by the overhead contact line system or third rail into AC380V three-phase alternating current to supply power for three-phase loads and AC loads such as fans, air conditioning units and air compressors on the subway, and simultaneously produces DC110V voltage to supply power for the DC loads and charge the batteries on the subway.
The dedicated frequency converter for air conditioner converts the AC380V alternating current on the subway into three-phase alternating current of which the voltage frequency can be adjusted to mainly supply power for the inverter air conditioners on the subway.
The emergency ventilation inverter, in case of power supply failure of the main power supply circuit for the subway, converts the 110V direct current produced by the train-mounted battery into AC380V three-phase alternating current to supply emergency power for air conditioners on the subway and thus to ensure ventilation for the interior subway cars.
The air-conditioning inverter converts the 1500VDC supplied by the overhead contact line system or third rail into AC380V three-phase alternating current to supply power for the three-phase loads and AC loads such as ventilation fans, air compressors, etc on the train.
The battery charger converts the 1500VDC high-voltage direct current supplied by the overhead contact line system or third rail or the AC bus three-phase AC380V into DC110V direct current voltage to supply power for the DC loads and charge the batteries on the train.
More than 7000 sets of auxiliary converters have been applied all over the world, thereinto, in China, the auxiliary converters have been applied to Macao LRT System Line 1 and Taiwan Kaohsiung subways;
About 400 sets of battery chargers have been applied to the subways in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and so on.
About 500 sets of emergency ventilation inverters have been applied to Xiamen Subway Line 1.
